WelcomeWelcome to the January St Albans District Neighbourhood Watch Association Newsletter. As we begin the new year, we would like to thank all our coordinators, volunteers, and members for your continued commitment to keeping our communities safe, informed, and connected across the St Albans District. Mobility & Social Event – London ColneyWe were pleased to kick off January with our Mobility & Social Event at the Caledon Community Centre, London Colney, within the St Albans District. This is a free event for residents aged 50+, delivered by the St Albans District Neighbourhood Watch Association in collaboration with AGM Centre. Sessions take place twice a month, on the first and last Wednesday of each month, from 10:30am to 1:30pm. This is a valuable and friendly activity supporting wellbeing and social connection within the local community. Coordinator Support – New Zoom Sessions (Starting February)From February, we are pleased to introduce a new Zoom support meeting for Coordinators within the St Albans District. 📅 Tuesday 25 February 2026 This session is open to both new and existing coordinators, with particular support for those new to the role. Being a coordinator can sometimes feel isolating, especially in the early stages. These relaxed and supportive sessions will provide an opportunity to: Invitations will be sent directly to coordinators. Deputy District Coordinator Ian White and District Coordinator Antonella Meli will help facilitate these sessions. Looking ahead, this initiative may form part of a simple ongoing support structure for coordinators across the district. Growing Our NetworkWe are delighted to welcome 7 new Street Coordinators who have joined the St Albans District over the past few months. Thank you for stepping forward to support your local area — your involvement truly makes a difference. Active Resident Workshops – Coming in 2026From February 2026, we will be launching monthly resident workshops across the St Albans District, rotating through local wards.
